Information about which show was recorded

Foreword

This overview is only an appendix to our tourdiary.
It allows you to browse through the years and to see if there is an available audio or video recording for a special show and if the source is complete or incomplete.

I won't add any quality rating because to me it is pretty subjective.
Over the years I have seen so many pages with a rating system that did in fact contradict each other.

If the source is incomplete the entry is written in italic.
Furthermore there will be a small list of what songs are recorded and what songs are missing.

Notes

Since about all nearly complete recordings do actually have small cuts (tape flip or battery changes, etc.), they still will be listed as complete recordings here. The fan project to give exact details about each recording still is in working process.

During the club days before Appetite For Destruction was released Marc Canter was their official audio [AUD/SBD] and video-taper [AUD] and managed to record nearly every show Guns n' Roses ever did, he in fact only missed two shows in 1985. Most of his recordings have never seen the light but snippets of the "Reckless Road"-online extras prove their existence. As Marc Canter still (2008) is very good friend with Slash, Axl & Co. it remains unlikely to get them released as complete shows ever. A somehow realistic hope lasts on a DVD-Compilation off his work!
As far as we know every show from the Use Your Illusion tour til now was videotaped [PRO] with soundboard [SBD] and unfortunately is collecting dust in the GN'R vaults. Until Axl & Slash will ever sort out their differences its absolutley out of reality to get them (partly) released officially.
